With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce that Jaykub E. Anderson, 32, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, has passed away following a devastating crash in Argyle, Wisconsin. His sudden and tragic death has left family, friends, and the community mourning an immeasurable loss.
According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal accident occurred along the 5000 block of State Highway 81 during the early morning hours. Jaykub was operating a 2012 Peterbilt Quad Axle milk truck when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway. It traveled through a ditch before going over the edge of an abandoned quarry, resulting in a catastrophic impact. The truck overturned upon landing, sustaining severe damage.
Emergency responders, including local fire and EMS teams, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and other agencies, worked diligently at the challenging scene. Despite their efforts, Jaykub was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
